Hosoo Residence

Located on a historical Kyoto backstreet, the Hosoo townhouse is a residence hotel offering a fresh take on the traditional Machiya townhouse – an act of love toward the historical vernacular of Japanese architecture currently in rapid decline.

The Machiya townhouse has been fully restored and reimagined by architect Naohisa Hosoo, Director of HOSOO Architecture.

OEO Studio supported with the interiors architecture, detailing and furnishing, aiming to introduce a unique and welcoming guest experience.
