Jari Chair
OEO Studio collaborated with Danish design brand Brdr. Krüger to create Jari, a signature chair initially designed for Tokyo restaurant INUA by the team behind the world-renowned Noma restaurant in Copenhagen.
Jari – a Japanese word meaning ‘pebbles’ – draws inspiration from natural beach pebbles that have been rounded by lapping waves over centuries.
The smooth seat upholstery made with quality leather and the all-in-one backrest inspired by beach pebbles combine to offer an embracing and comfortable seating experience. The backrest, which gives the chair its unique character, is crafted using both modern CNC milling and traditional woodcraft techniques. The backrest and slender wood-turned legs are seamlessly joined.
