The Noma Projects space in Los Angeles is an offspring of the original Noma Projects Shop in the Noma garden in Copenhagen.
The approach is grounded in the same material honesty - every element has a clear origin and a reason for being.
Every piece of furniture was designed for the space by OEO Studio and produced locally by Marmol Radziner. All timber in the space is elm sourced from the Los Angeles urban forest and has been repurposed from the city itself, while the service counters are formed from natural buff-toned limestone sourced from remnants. The textiles are woven from dyed hemp and the pendant lights above the curiosity table are made from recycled coffee grounds.
