The Tokio candle stand consists of a small series of objects inspired by the architecture and cityscape of Tokyo. Tokio plays with architectural references and the relationship between structures and space. A single material, treated with different finishes, transforms each surface from subtle satin to mirror polish, resembling the reflective surfaces of the city. The pieces are cast by master craftspeople in the Toyama region using the lost-wax technique to create perfectly crafted forms. Designed by OEO Studio for Time & Style.
