Three-Michelin-starred Kadeau in Copenhagen draws its culinary roots from the small Danish island of Bornholm in the Baltic Sea.
OEO Studio worked closely with head chef Nicolai Nørregaard to translate his visionary gastronomic philosophy into a holistic spatial environment - creating a universe in which guests feel as though they are dining in his home among close friends.
The experience is refined yet relaxed, unpretentious yet deeply considered, with care given to even the smallest details. The restaurant celebrates materiality, textures, and carefully composed colour hues that create warmth and intimacy. Throughout, bespoke pieces highlight craftsmanship and quality - selected specifically to age beautifully, with the marks of time.
Five years after opening in Copenhagen in 2015, OEO Studio introduced a refreshed design, adding new elements including an integrated wine cellar, a more secluded casual private dining area, an all-year glass-house lounge, and an experimental test kitchen for Nicolai and his sous chefs.
